2024 LEAGUE INFORMATION
Skills Assessments: Skill assessments are MANDATORY for all NEW players who did not play in our 2023 spring season AND returning players who are moving up to a new age division. All players MUST ATTEND skills assessment to be drafted to a team. This year we are only having 1 night of skills assessment for each division so players MUST attend their designated night.
T-ball ages 4-5 and coach pitch ages 6 do not have skills assessments. These players are assigned to teams randomly by the computer league organizer. All players attending skills assessments will need to bring a glove.

Season Information: Once skills assessments are complete, managers will meet to draft their teams. You will receive a phone call from your coach by 8:00pm on Sunday February 4th. You will have a team meeting between 2/8 and 2/9 (your coach will schedule) to fill out paperwork and turn in any necessary information. Practices will begin the week of February 12th. All required documentation must be complete before you can practice. Most teams practice twice a week with the possibility of a 3rd practice in the cages. Practices will run through Friday March 15th. There are many different practice sites throughout Lake Wales. You will not necessarily be at the LL complex.
Opening Day is Saturday March 23, 2024. Your team’s first game will be this day along with opening ceremonies, team pictures, basket raffles and tons more fun! Most teams will play 2 times per week. T-ball and coach pitch are on Saturdays and can sometimes be during the week. The season usually ends mid-May.
Uniforms: LWLL provides all players with a jersey, hat/visor & socks. T-ball, coach pitch and baseball players provide their own grey pants. Softball players provide their own black pants. If your pants have belt loops you will be required to wear a belt.
